Self-Sabotage : Enjoying self-destruction

Think like a conqueror and win the battle of life

Self Sabotage

You need to know how to overcome self-sabotage.

A part of your mind seeks your own destruction. It seeks bad choices and feels pleasure when we indulge into them. It likes temptation and failures.

I had a chance to explore this part of myself during the last months. And oh boy, it is sneaky.

It takes advantage of difficult tasks to convince you to give up and step on your past progress.

There’s no doubt that this “Self-Sabotage” part of us can 100% kill who we could’ve been.

Those who conquer this part of themselves become master of their own fate. But if you don’t, it’s very easy to lose track of what you (personally) want out of life.

Self-Sabotage — the steps to be a conqueror:

Those who dominate their self-destructive tendencies are guided by a calling bigger than themselves. That’s the first step: finding where your calling comes from.

Then, the conqueror tries to find his weaknesses. Most of them are inside his mind. So, his second task is to believe that he can succeed.

Visualisation is the conqueror’s sword and self-belief his armor. He needs to be certain in himself to win.

In his heart, the conqueror has a high view of himself.

You need to know one more thing.

Give yourself permission to dream.

Becoming the best, pursuing a skill until perfect mastery — these dreams are accessible to everyone. Yet we’re so afraid to dream about them!

Maybe it’s just because we don’t want others to laugh at our dreams. Or because they’ll think we’re snooty.

Not giving yourself the permission to dream comes from… the same self-sabotage tendency.

Think like the conqueror. Most of what we hear chews our inner-belief into crumbs — so let’s fix it.
